With the continuous maturation of broadcasting and television-related technologies, China's exploration of the quality of the television picture has experienced a shift from standard definition technology to high-definition technology, while 4K, 8K and other high-definition video technology is developing, the sound technology is also constantly developing. In particular, the emergence of Dobly Atoms, 3D sound, VR audio, making the audience gradually not satisfied with the stereo sound or even surround sound this kind of flat way of presenting the sound, put forward higher requirements and expectations for the accuracy of the positioning, spatial reproduction. Especially in the field of Media ecology, people's attention shifts from a single visual center to the sense of hearing, and further pursues the harmony and balance of the senses. This paper focused on the production of VR audio (also known as spatial audio) in sports event programs, analyze the multi-dimensional immersion brought about by audio in sports event programs, and further explore the aesthetic changes brought about by technological changes. The paper concluded by envisioning the establishment of a human perception-centered sound field in sports broadcast sound production, making full use of auditory elements to mobilize multiple senses and fully immerse the audience in the sports events. The author believes that it is worth trying to break the traditional listening habits of the audience of sports events, and that sound creation will develop in a more free and humanized direction in the future.
